Aussie Credit Cards - What's New In March

Let's check what's new happened in Australian credit cards market during March 2011.
Credit Card Rates Changed
- ANZ Low Rate MasterCard balance transfer rate changed to 2.9% for 12 months.
- ANZ First Credit Card balance transfer rate changed to 7.99% for 6 months and there is no annual fee for the first 12 months.
- The balance transfer rate for the Virgin Money - No Annual Fee credit card changed from 2.9% p.a. for 6 months to 6.9% p.a. for 6 months.
- The annual purchase rate for the St.George Vertigo credit card increased from 12.74% p.a. to 13.24% p.a.
Credit Card Offers Changed
There is no special balance transfer rate for Suncorp Platinum Credit Card anymore, but you receive half price annual fee for the first year on the primary card.
The Suncorp Standard Credit Card gives you low rate of 12.74% p.a. on retail purchases and no annual fee for the first year, however balance transfer offer has also been removed.
Citibank Clear Platinum Credit Card upgraded it's offer with 0% for 6 months on purchases and balances plus a half price annual fee of $49 in the first year.
