Credit Rating

A borrower's credit rating is the measure of their credit worthiness. This usually refers to companies and governments when borrowing money from a lender. A high credit rating means that the borrower is able to repay the debt and has low chances of defaulting on the loan. Meanwhile, the opposite is true for those with a low credit rating.
